Am working on this tote bag (having finally given up on finding the exact ribbons I needed, and so have hand stitched onto the ribbons after machine sewing them onto the panels).
Is from a pattern by Meredith Harmer that was in
Australian Patchwork and Stitching magazine Vol 11 No 2 2010 and is called Oh-So Happy.

Watch this space! I hope to have this bag finished by Sunday!
Cute!
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Its Sunday how did you go?
ReplyDeleteOh, well...first I discovered last night that I had cut the inner panels by a half inch too short, so that bummed me out and I decided it was too late at night to try and fix up. Then today I went to school to do a couple of hours preparation as the term starts again tomorrow and I actually got into my 'zone' and pottered away there quite happily for about six hours! Maybe will get it done over the next week! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! You sound like me ! (re: "maybe I'll get it done next weekend ..."). I can SO relate to that dilemma !!! Anyhow, I love the applique and colors ..... I'm sure it'll be terrific once you get around to finishing it !
ReplyDeleteP.S. thanks so much for visiting my blog and for your nice comment !
