This was a recent finish about four weeks ago...I've finally found time to get the photos posted.
Formerly known as Jen's Crafts and Quilts Scrapbook - this is an online scrapbook of my craft projects! I sign all my quilts with "Handmade with (heart symbol)" so it is an appropriate blog title.

More Irish Luck!
Using leftovers from my previous project, I created another two small quilts to add to my pile of baby quilts to donate to the Neo-natal Unit at Southland Hospital later this year.
The first is called "Wee Bit o' Luck"...
Some Irish Luck
I have been busy with creating, but haven't been able to share as some of my latest projects are gifts and I didn't want to spoil any surprises. The weather in the past couple of months has not been great for getting decent photos either...
I finally got around to delivering this cot quilt to its new owners today...my teaching colleague Laura Russell and her wee boy Alex (born on St Patrick's Day!)
Everything was from my stash - to make the most of the fat quarters (or smaller pieces) I used simple four inch squares for the design.
Laura had said she'd like a quilt with pastel green, and I had pulled the four-leaf clover fabric from my stash before bubs arrived...must have known something! And as for the cute critters...
I quilted with an all-over large stipple, with four-leaf clovers as a detail.

Two colourful baby quilts
Two 'twin' quilts made in December from scraps/leftovers, to donate to the NeoNatal Unit in Invercargill,
| Bess wanted in on the action! |
You Brighten My Day! measures 20" x 24". I used leftover four-patches and set them out in same-colour rows. Both quilts have been straight-line quilted, on a diagonal for half the quilt, then in the other direction for the rest of the quilt.
Colourful Friends measures 20" x 24" as well, and I mixed the four-patches with larger squares using the animal print from the backing.
