'Twin' tote bags

Have finished these two bags - one for me and one for a special friend.
Am really pleased with the way they have turned out!

WIP - tote bag

Am working on this tote bag (having finally given up on finding the exact ribbons I needed, and so have hand stitched onto the ribbons after machine sewing them onto the panels).

Is from a pattern by Meredith Harmer that was in Australian Patchwork and Stitching magazine Vol 11 No 2 2010 and is called Oh-So Happy.
