Yay! Finished my 2011 goal of creating ten cot quilts for gifts for babies in the neonatal unit of Dunedin Hospital - completed two a couple of weekends ago (while watching Rugby World Cup games on TV) and three more this weekend.
Have actually ended up making eleven quilts as gave one of the earlier quilts to the baby of a local couple from Edendale whose little boy was born at 28 weeks and was up in the unit, but wanted to turn up with a set of ten as it is ten years since Kieran was 'in residence' there.

The complete set! Delivered Thursday 20th Oct 2011! |
Delighted today to receive a thankyou card from a Southland mum who's little 27-weeker prem baby son has recently been given one of the quilts I made - really nice to know it was appreciated and the quilts are being enjoyed as intended!
