Craftsy/Leah Day FMQ Sampler Quilt class

So life in general got in the way of my grand plan to complete this quilt before school started again on the 3rd Feb! However I am onto the LAST BLOCK and should be able to do the binding this weekend at last!

It has been a great first three days at school with my awesome twenty Year Six pupils and the national holiday today meant that I could have the classroom to myself to do some planning for camp and the senior production.

Last night I changed my sewing plate and foot to be able to use the herringbone stitch on the machine around the hexagons of my final block. Just a few seams to finish on that. But here are blocks 13 - 19:

Some echo lines and desert sand...

...escargot and echo lines...

...river lines...

...(hmm, photo taken too closely to the tinted windows?)...pebbles, echoes and a desert sand centre...

...echo lines and feather fans attempt...

...echo lines and more feather fans.
