Another Comma tote bag

This one's for me! I can't bear to part with it, will be perfect for winter! Side A above, Side B below.
Same fabrics as before, Comma by Brigitte Heitland from Zen Chic for Moda. And this time I eyeballed the straight lines again for the quilting, but used the walking foot rather than the FMQ foot so the lines stayed straighter.
A little pocket on the inside...and of course Bess had to get in on the shoot...
Must get on and finish the Comma quilt now, gotta love school holidays! Have eaten my Easter egg, finished the novel The Aviator's Wife and now can go out and do some autumn weeding (me being a seasonal gardener and all...I only weed once a season!)

  1. Love the quilting you did on it, I bet it was easier to sew straight lines with a walking foot, I can do curvy with a FMQ foot but straight, no way :)

    1. Thanks, I don't know why I didn't just use the walking foot on the first bag, I was having a mind-blank I guess and for some reason thought i should change the foot for the quilting - duh! Have a nice Easter!
