Modern flimsy

Just thinking about what to do for a border...
Is the pattern Charm Pack Cherry from the Fat Quarter Shop, made in fabric range Gamma by Briggitte Heitland for Zen Chic by MoMo for Moda, plus a green dot from the Free Bird range also by MoMo.

(It looks a bit puckered in places but it is just the way I chucked it on the floor for the photo)

  1. I do like that pattern. I've made one and am working on another. They look so different depending upon background colors. I think I'd go with a lime green binding and no border.

  2. I always struggle with the border! My husband is an artist (painter) and I usually have to call him up to help choose. Maybe 2 borders, a narrow lighter one and a wider dark one? maybe a thin strip of green and a darker one. I am sure whatever you choose it will be just wonderful.

    1. Thanks, I think the charcoal helps tone down the bright citrus-like colours but keeps it all looking chic! Have a happy Easter!

    1. Hi, yes it is tricky deciding what to do, I have been contemplating a piano-keys type border (not sure of an official name for it but that is how I describe it) so I can get those fabrics in as I do love them so much! Have a happy Easter!
