Just thinking about what to do for a border...
Formerly known as Jen's Crafts and Quilts Scrapbook - this is an online scrapbook of my craft projects! I sign all my quilts with "Handmade with (heart symbol)" and thought it would be an appropriate blog title.
I do like that pattern. I've made one and am working on another. They look so different depending upon background colors. I think I'd go with a lime green binding and no border.
ReplyDeleteI can see it will be a very versatile pattern with so many possibilities. Thanks for the idea re the border, will be tough deciding. Happy Easter!
DeleteI always struggle with the border! My husband is an artist (painter) and I usually have to call him up to help choose. Maybe 2 borders, a narrow lighter one and a wider dark one? maybe a thin strip of green and a darker one. I am sure whatever you choose it will be just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteTwo borders, hadn't thought of that! Thanks for the ideas, have a happy Easter!
DeleteI just saw this same pattern on Pinterest and I thought how pretty it was! Yours is so very pretty too! I love the charcoal. Lovely. -April@Little Mama Hen
ReplyDeleteThanks, I think the charcoal helps tone down the bright citrus-like colours but keeps it all looking chic! Have a happy Easter!
Deletesuper fun pattern! i love the white print with the large scale gray jacks (or whatever they are!) on it...good luck picking, there are a lot of great prints in that line!
ReplyDeleteHi, yes it is tricky deciding what to do, I have been contemplating a piano-keys type border (not sure of an official name for it but that is how I describe it) so I can get those fabrics in as I do love them so much! Have a happy Easter!
