Made from two separate fat quarter sandwiches that I used to practice some free-motion quilting on for a couple of other projects, I inserted a zip and a 16" pillow insert.

Deeeeeee-lightful! Isn't it great to practise especially when it turns out this well?
ReplyDeleteYes, it is good to be able to make sure nothing is wasted!
DeleteThis turned out really cute! Great job.
ReplyDeleteCheers Karen! It was quick and easy!
DeleteLove that fabric too! Made an adorable pillow.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed doing something so quick (helped by the fact the two panels had been quilted last year!) Thanks for dropping by!
DeleteWhat a cute pillow! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vera! I'm not sure what I'll do with it, but in the meantime it looks fine on the spare bed!
DeleteWhat a pretty pillow and a great way to use something that you'd already made while in the process of working on another project. I've been thinking I need some new pillow covers. And I've been meaning to do some practicing of some fmqing patterns before I attempt it on the quilts I'm working on. I think I'll combine the two! Thanks for the idea, Jen.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue! Watch this space...I've just practiced some fmq spiderwebs on some leftover Spiderman fabrics for my nephew's quilt, so another pillow will be on the way!
DeleteSweet! That bird fabric is darling!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jamie Lee! I love it too - am definitely keeping this pillow (until I find someone who deserves it more!)
DeleteIt's super cute - I really love that bird fabric!
ReplyDeleteI know! It really called to me when I spotted it in the shop! Cheers!
