WIP Wednesday

Getting started on my Finish Along Q3 goals...

A small Folk Art Christmas lap quilt...

A Sweet Jane pattern 'Jumping Jacks' lap quilt using a charm pack of Fandango...

A massive head cold has struck my energy levels low, am just debating about finding yardage to make borders to make the quilts a bit bigger....

  1. I always like triangles and yours are gorgeous - the colouring really makes them. Good luck with the borders too, always a great way to stretch the size of a quilt.

    1. Thanks, I think it will take me a wee while to find the right fabric for the borders...

  2. Looks like some fun, easy stitching!

  3. I love the second one! That fabric line is so cute...I actually saved that line and made a quilt for myself :)

    1. I know what you mean - I love seeing it each time I walk into the spare room.

  4. Take care of yourself, maybe a bit of gentle handquilting while you recover? Winter has to end eventually, though this one is a doozy.

    1. Kind words, thank you! Luckily it was just a head cold and I only 'suffered' for a couple of days, all gone now!

    1. I've been wanting to use them for a while, so, when inspiration strikes...now I just need to finish them off!
