A bag for Rose

This week I finished up this little bag as a farewell gift for my work colleague, Rose Dickison; am very happy to say that she was delighted with it!

Made up the pattern by myself - the finished bag is 12.5" wide by 13.5" long,w ith 24"handles.

The fabric squares were from a charm pack of Moda Modern Workshop by Liesl Gibson for Oliver + S for Moda. The turquoise fabric is by Timeless Treasures Fabrics and I used it to line the bag too.

  1. I like the offset patchwork in the bag and very clever to stitch inside, I should take time to do that detail.

    1. Hi! I actually just use a fabric pen to write the details on an inside area as a label of my work. Very easy! Thanks for visiting.

  2. What a great bag! I have been wanting to do a patchwork bag, but haven't figured out what I should do. I love how this is a little different - and breaks up the busy-ness of patchwork. Love it!
