An online scrapbook of my craft projects!
Oh Jen, your table runner is gorgeous... both the fabrics you used and the quilting. That combination of straight stitching and circles and pebbles is really effective. Did you do the straight line quilting first and then use that as your "frame" for the free motion?
Hi! Aren't the colours lovely? I did quite wide lines first then decided they needed to be thinner so added two more lines in between (so they are about a quarter inch apart) and then filled the shapes with pebbles and decided the outer border needed some lines of circles/pebbles too.
Beautiful quilting. I'm in awe!
Thank you! It is fun to try out ideas with no pressure to 'perform'!
Lovely colours. The quilting looks great.
Thank you very much - I enjoyed trying some more FMQ.
Nice table runner (both sides). The quilting is fab!
Thanks Vera, I was pleased with the colour and vibrancy of the backing batik.
Very pretty - the quilting is awesome. Great job!
Thanks Karen - I am looking forward to getting some more quilting projects completed during our Easter/Term One school holidays!
Love this runner! The back is awesome too! I see the. Spider-Man pillow...I have one of those exact fabrics for my grandson to go in his next quilt!
Nice to hear your feedback Sandra! Your grandson will love the Spidey, I know I had fun quilting my nephew's quilt!
Nice practice piece! Uses up charms, great fmq practice and you end up with a beautiful table runner! Win win win!
Thank you! It's always fun to get a smaller project done.
