Another finish of one of my goals for the 2nd quarter of On The Windy Side's Finish Along Challenge! I think I've managed to get four things done, not too bad!
I spent the day working on school reports, finally spent some time this evening to get Melly's legs onto her body (she's been waiting in the basket for about a year!)
About 18' tall and made from a pink polka dot, with a black multi-coloured spot for the horns and hooves; pattern is called Mrs Perkins and is by Melly & Me.
This one is off to the Maniototo as a gift for new baby Issy Bankshaw!
You can see my other 'Mrs Perkins' giraffes here: #10 for Harper, #9 baby gift, #7 for Corbin and #8 for sale, #2-6 sold or gifted, and #1 for Claudia.
Linking up to share with Amanda Jean's Friday Night Finish It party!
Super cute.Great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rosa! It's been a long time waiting!!
DeleteWhat an absolutely perfect giraffe! Great work. The Melly and Me patterns are just the best.
ReplyDeleteCheers Elaine - like most crafters I can spot things I think could have been 'tidier' but hey, kids don't care!
DeleteThis giraffe is super cute! Great job putting it together.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jasmine - my plan was to make 20 of them before I 'retire' the pattern (or at least, put it away for a few years) - just nine more to go!
DeleteI think she's gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you! I do agree!
DeleteSorry I haven't visited your blog in awhile.....This giraffe is really cute!
ReplyDeleteYour giraffe is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteShe is just as sweet as she can be!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am sure she will find a good home eventually, but am loving her in the meantime!
