October 11th, 2019: gifted these five quilts to Barnardos as part of the Aotearoa Quilters' Cosy Kiwi Kids donation programme. |
Throughout the year I have been working on a set of five quilts using up some owl fabric and others from my stash (in an effort to use some of the stash up!) and I plan to give them to Ronald McDonald House at Southland Hospital and to Barnardos for foster children.
These are wonderful Jen and I know will be greatly loved. I need to do the same thing to use uo some of my scraps.
ReplyDeleteAnd I've still got a tonne of scraps to use up...I will never be short of a project LOL!
DeleteThese are all so pretty and cheerful! The children will love these, such a nice donation.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful cheerful quilts! I'm sure the lucky little people who get them will be thrilled.
ReplyDeleteCheers,

Thanks Sylvia, I must get busy on making a few more out of my big pile of scraps.
DeleteBeautiful donation quilts, sure to be loved :) I try to do several as well each year, for Project Linus.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to share the love of quilts!
DeleteGreat way to use up your stash and do some good. Children will definitely love these. They are adorable.
ReplyDeleteAnd I still have so much stash to work through...if only I didn't have to go to work all the darn time LOL!
